Readings from the Classics

We are due for a new classics passage for the white board in the studio.  Reading Yang Ban Hou’s next thesis, I see that his thoughts are getting too complex for our many beginner students.  I will have to go back and reprise some of last year’s passages from the pocket book, Tai Chi Secrets of the Ancient Masters.  They are worth repeating and the members of our current beginners’ group were not here when I originally posted those passages.  I am afraid that too many Taijiquan practitioners don’t realize that learning Taijiquan requires both intellectual and physical effort.  For the intellectual part, the above-mentioned book is a good place to begin.
